The nature reserve of Paracas is located 22 kms south of Pisco, home to the world famous ‘Pisco Sour’ cocktail. Paracas enchants visitors with desert landscapes, windswept dunes, a diversity of flora and fauna, as well as the spectacular views of the Pacific. Water sports (kite surfing, windsurfing, kayaking and catamaran tours) and visits to the mysterious Nazca Lines (whose meaning still remains a hot topic of debate) are the most popular activities. A lovely destination to begin or end a trip, Paracas is a perfect place to unwind.
