See Angkor Thom, a 3kmsq walled moated Royal city having 5 gates. Visit Ta Phrom, a quiet, sprawling, jungle clad monastic complex engulfed by massive fig and silk-cotton trees.

Visit To Tonle Sap Lake On Boat
Drive about 45mins into the countryside, stopping en route to visit a local village. Arrive at the quay and board a local boat for a 1.5hr ride on the Tonle Sap Lake (the best times are from July to February), also known as the Great Lake of Cambodia. Find out how communities live and work on the lake; see the floating schools, markets, and police stations, among others; observe their daily lives. Drive back to Siem Reap.

Arrange an optional pre-dawn start with your guide (0530hrs) to witness the daily morning ritual of ‘Tak Bat’ or giving of alms to hundreds of saffron-robed monks. This truly awe-inspiring ritual still followed by the locals in Luang Prabang, dates back generations. Also, visit the local fresh market to see locals shopping before returning to your hotel. After breakfast, visit the quaint Royal Palace Museum, offering overviews of the local history on a guided audio tour. Walk on to the unique Wat Mai with its five-tiered roof. Continue walking via the city’s quiet back lanes to the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its low-to-the-ground sweeping roof, representing classic Luang Prabang styles. Later, stroll along the Nam Khan River to Wat Visoun or Wisunalat, called the ‘Watermelon Stupa’ due to its odd shape, housing ancient Buddha images. In the afternoon, visit the Arts and Ethnology Center, providing insights into Lao’s ethnic mix and culture. Then, visit Ban Xangkhong and Ban Xienglek weaving and textile villages. Finally, end the day with a climb to Mount Phousi to enjoy a spectacular sunset and panoramic views over Luang Prabang and the Mekong River.

Discover beautiful landscapes! After your breakfast, enjoy a relaxing upstream cruise on a private boat past tranquil countryside vistas and moored wooden canoes on the Mekong. Disembark at the Ban Muang Keo village and take a short trek to the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, which house thousands of Buddha figurines in varying sizes! On your way back to Luang Prabang for lunch, stop to explore the artisans colony at Ban Nongxai. Drive out to the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfalls in the afternoon, where a refreshing dip in the turquoise waters do much to revive you. A visit to the Bear Rescue Centre to see the rehabilitated rare Asiatic Black Bears, can be a rewarding experience before you return to your hotel in the evening.

Set sail to the magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay; lunch on board; see astonishing formations of the bay; further at Cap La, enjoy kayak paddling around the fishing village here. Back on the junk, swim / relax before dinner. Overnight on board at Cong Do. Next day, cruise amid the bay’s panorama to visit Thien Canh Son cave; alight to swim. Return to the junk for lunch; cruise back to the harbor; check out; drive back to Hanoi.

Enjoy a 1N Jasmine Junk cruise through Halong Bay. Take a scenic drive 4hr/165kms from Hanoi; transfer by tender to the Junk; check-in; enjoy a seafood lunch; cruise past limestone islands and beaches. By tender, visit Tien Ong Cave to see stalactites and stalagmites; take a bamboo boat ride to Cua Van Fishing Village – Halong’s biggest and oldest floating fishing village. Discover the Cu Chi Tunnels, an immense world famous tunnel complex that was first constructed in 1948 as a means to protect the Viet Cong guerillas from their French enemy. The tunnel system network grew as the need arose during the Vietnam War (1955 – 1975), becoming not just a communication route and food and weapon storage facilities, but also the guerilla’s living quarters. In fact, they even housed hospitals. The Americans conducted several military campaigns against the tunnels throughout the last decade of combat. Dubbed the Black Echo due to the hardship of this underground life that was rife with insect infestations and disease, this unique tour provides you with an opportunity to witness the resilience of the Vietnamese.

City Highlights of Ho Chi Minh City
Explore Saigon, a city that never sleeps! With its vibrant, exciting energy and brimming with people, you’ll quickly notice how modernity has collided with its rich history. The best way to explore Saigon is by foot, as you wander along and witness quaint yet sure French colonial buildings on Dong Khoi Street, also known as Rue Catinat. Witness many other historic landmarks, including the Opera House, the former Hotel de Ville (Town Hall) and the spectacular Presidential Palace. Visit the central Post Office, not to send your postcards home but to witness a magnificent feat of architecture. Want to make a wish? Visit Thien Hau Temple in District 5, where it is the local custom to attach your dreams to an incense coil.
