Full Day Tour of Hanoi with Cyclos Ride
Delve into Hanoi’s colonial buildings, tree-lined boulevards and scenic lakes. Start at the historic mausoleum and former house of Vietnamese Communist revolutionary leader Ho Chi Minh. Visit the beautifully designed lotus-shaped Buddhist temple of One Pillar Pagoda. If you wish to gain an overview of Hanoian culture and ancient architecture then you will be in for a treat at the Temple of Literature, whilst the Museum of Ethnology offers fascinating insights into Vietnam’s 54 ethnic minority groups. You can observe the hustle and bustle of Hanoi’s Old Quarter with a thrilling one hour cyclo ride, where many local people go about their daily lives. To complete this culturally rich day, enjoy a performance at the mystical Water Puppet Theater, which brings to life a traditional artform describing daily life and the legends of Vietnam’s history.

Day Trip To Hill Tribe Market
Explore the heart of the hills! Embark on a three hour drive to the isolated northwest of Vietnam, where stunning mountains and friendly hill tribes hold sway. Meet the resident Black H’mong and Red Dzao tribes by the Chay River as they go about their business at the weekly markets in Coc Ly, Lung Khau Nhin, Can Cau, Muong Khau and Bac Ha. From livestock to handwoven fabrics, everything is sold at the markets! Float past enchanting caves by the river as you savor a hearty lunch on your boat. Indulge in a ride aboard a water buffalo cart at the Na Nen Village, which is just a short trek away, before returning to Sapa in the late afternoon. Kindly note that this activity is only possible on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Half Day Trek to Love Waterfall & Heaven’s Gate
Discover Love in Sapa! Take a short 30 min drive to visit the twinkling Love Waterfalls and soak in stunning panoramic views of the sweeping landscape. Admire the towering mountains that form a backdrop to the lush forests of Hoang Line National Park near the waterfalls. A charming local farm lies just a short walk away. Journey uphill by car for another 15 min to reach the aptly-named Heaven’s Gate, for breathtaking views of Fansipan Mountain – the highest in Indochina. Enjoy a few moments of rest and indulge your love for photography at this picturesque location, before returning to Sapa Town from your half day tour. The best time to do this activity is from May to November.

Set sail into Halong Bay! Take a four hour drive from Hanoi to reach the jetty and take a boat to the Jasmine Junk. After your safety briefing, feast on a seafood lunch while cruising past limestone islands. Visit Tien Ong Caves, or take a bamboo boat ride to Halong’s oldest floating village at Cua Van. Back on the junk experience a Vietnamese culinary demonstration, unwind with a massage, and enjoy a cultural performance before dinner. Begin the next morning with Tai Chi before heading to a beach. Cruise back to Halong through picturesque Ti Top Island, Tam Cung Cave and Poem Mountain. Enjoy your brunch on board just before you arrive at Royal Park Pier around 1100 hours, before a leisurely drive back to Hanoi.

Enjoy a marvellous one night cruise aboard the Dragon Pearl! From your hotel you will be taken to the harbor where you can check-in, meet your crew and receive a safety briefing. The you can set sail to the magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay and Cap La, where the astonishing formations of Halong Bay await you. Enjoy a delicious lunch en route. If you wish, you can disembark and visit the local fishing village or go kayaking. Back on board, relax and unwind or have a swim before dinner. The following day you can cruise through an incredible panorama of grottos and explore Thien Canh Son cave. Enjoy a swim and another delicious lunch aboard the junk before a smooth cruise back to the harbor at Hanoi.

Discover Hué’s imperial past of Nguyễn lords on a thrilling twenty to thirty minute cyclo ride that takes you to the tombs, pagodas and UNESCO World Heritage Site of Imperial City. On the banks of Perfume River, visit the compelling seven storey tower of Thien Mu Pagoda, the city’s best-preserved religious monument. Walking Tour of Ancient Hoi An
Discover the magnificent Ancient Quarter of Hanoi on a walking tour. Glance into the city’s illustrious past as a trading port as you meander through narrow pedestrianized narrow streets, brimming with well-preserved buildings and unique cuisine. Visit the restored 17th century Chua Ong Pagoda, which was dedicated to ancient Chinese General, or head to the Chinese Assembly Halls of the Chaozhou Chinese Congregation, which boasts outstandingly ornate wood carvings. Explore the 200 year old Tam Ky ancestral house, the delightful 400 year old Japanese covered bridge, and other historic merchant houses whose architecture have been influenced by the Chinese, Vietnamese and Japanese. Soak up the atmosphere in the quarter’s colorful market, which offers an array of silks that you can get stitched into stunning garments within a day or two! Explore the magnificent UNESCO World Heritage Site of My Son on a full day tour. Take a one and a half hour drive from Hoi An to this significant place of worship for the Cham civilization, which dated from the 2nd to the 13th century. Set in a verdant valley surrounded by hills and overlooked by the imposing Cat Tooth Mountain, this is a peaceful location to embrace ancient Vietnamese and Hindu culture. Your guide will bring to life the legends of these twenty monuments, which despite their age are still standing. Learn about the Cham culture, the building of this fascinating architecture, and the civilization who once lived here, before heading back into Hoi An.

Can Tho Floating Market & City Tour
Embark on a half day motorboat trip to Cai Rung, the most renowned and biggest floating market in Cần Thơ, where you can witness boats laden with fruits and vegetables and freshly caught fish. The way the busy market sellers advertise their goods in their own time-tested manner, shouting across the waters and tying their goods on tall poles that rise out of their boats and can be seen on the horizon. After this exuberant visit, head to Cần Thơ Museum, that holds over 5,000 Mekong relics, and venture into the countryside where you can see how ethnic Vietnamese, Chinese and Khmer live together. Finish your tour with a drive to Binh Thuy Ancient House, a feat of French influenced architecture that houses many valuable antiques. So as not to miss the market in full swing, we recommend you start this activity in the early morning.

Visit Cu Chi Tunnels (by Road)
Discover the Cu Chi Tunnels, an immense world famous tunnel complex that was first constructed in 1948 as a means to protect the Viet Cong guerillas from their French enemy. The tunnel system network grew as the need arose during the Vietnam War (1955 – 1975), becoming not just a communication route and food and weapon storage facilities, but also the guerilla’s living quarters. In fact, they even housed hospitals. The Americans conducted several military campaigns against the tunnels throughout the last decade of combat. Dubbed the Black Echo due to the hardship of this underground life that was rife with insect infestations and disease, this unique tour provides you with an opportunity to witness the resilience of the Vietnamese.

Explore Saigon, a city that never sleeps! With its vibrant, exciting energy and brimming with people, you’ll quickly notice how modernity has collided with its rich history. The best way to explore Saigon is by foot, as you wander along and witness quaint yet sure French colonial buildings on Dong Khoi Street, also known as Rue Catinat. Witness many other historic landmarks, including the Opera House, the former Hotel de Ville (Town Hall) and the spectacular Presidential Palace. Visit the central Post Office, not to send your postcards home but to witness a magnificent feat of architecture. Want to make a wish? Visit Thien Hau Temple in District 5, where it is the local custom to attach your dreams to an incense coil. Kindly note that it is not possible to visit inside the Notre Dame during church services.
