What’s the position?
We are currently searching for a Head of Product Management Africa, Central Asia & Middle East to join our team in Munich. The main responsibilities are as follows:
- Lead our regional Product Management team
- Oversee our further expansion to new countries in Africa, Central Asia and Middle East
- Personally drive selected country expansions within this region:
- design our product and itineraries
- select local partners and build strong partner relationships
- negotiate rate contract, provide partner trainings & share feedback
- plan & conduct test trips
- coordinate product content creation and ensure excellent content quality
- train all teams on new countries
- Take ownership for the ongoing growth of the region – listen to our Sales Team and ensure they are able to offer highly attractive travel experiences to our guests and receive strong partner support
- Provide ongoing support to our Sales, Trip Execution and Marketing team
The successful candidate will report to the Chief Product Officer while working closely with our Product Management teams around the world as well as our global Sales, Trip Execution and Marketing teams.

What do we expect from you?
- You have 5+ years of Sales and Product Management experience in the tourism sector, ideally for an international tour operator, and 2+ years of team management experience
- You have a deep understanding of discerning travelers from North America and Europe and in-depth knowledge of tourism destinations in Africa, Central Asia and/or the Middle East
- You feel passionate about creating amazing travel experiences
- You have strong analytical skills and business sense are able to multi-task effectively
- You have strong people, relationship building and team management skills, enjoy communicating with people and have outstanding verbal and written communication skills. This entails empathy, assertiveness, listening, negotiation & presentation skills
- You are ambitious and persistent – reaching the minimum goal is never enough for you. You take ownership and go the extra mile
