Siem Reap is a most marvellous window to the world famous UNESCO World Heritage Site Angkor Temple complex, with its fascinating Khmer architecture in varying states of preservation.

Discover the important temples within the magnificent Angkor Archaeological Park on this fascinating tour. Soak in the gorgeous views of the UNESCO World Heritage site of the temple complex that comprises five spectacular towers and a vast gallery. Stroll to the imposing Angkor Wat temple, a fine example of Khmer architecture, built in the 12th century. At sunrise and sunset, you can see a surreal reflection of this temple in the nearby pool of water! After exploring this gorgeous temple, make your way to the walled city of Angkor Thom where you can find the splendid Bayon temple and other monuments. Saunter on to the Ta Phrom temple that sits tucked within huge fig and silk cotton trees and is known as the jungle temple. Day Trip to Banteay Srei and Beng Mealea
Discover ancient mysteries! After a hearty breakfast, embark on a pleasant 1.5hr drive through the beautiful Cambodian countryside to reach Beng Mealea – a sprawling temple complex within a dense jungle. One of the most mysterious ruins of Angkor, it is believed to have inspired the famous Angkor Wat. Hike through the temple ruins which sit on an ancient road, and were undiscovered for centuries! Savor a traditional Cambodian lunch and head toward the Banteay Srei Temple or ‘Citadel of Women’ which is dedicated to the Hindu God Shiva. The beautiful architecture, sculpture, and Khmer artwork will give you much insight into the ancient Angkor civilization. Kindly note that this activity is not suitable for wheelchair users, due to lack of access. Situated 17km from Phnom Penh, Cheung Ek became famous by the movie ‘The Killing Fields’, a graphic depiction of the horrors that took place. Now, a large memorial has been built to commemorate the 17,000 victims who died here under the reign of Khmer Rouge leader, Pol Pot. The remnants inside the memorial and the mass graves dotting the area, are a journey into Cambodia

Highlights of Phnom Penh
Explore the finest examples of Khmer architecture with this marvelous city tour. The Royal Palace is a grand building overlooking a tranquil plaza and still houses Cambodia’s royalty, King Sihamoni. On the south side of the palace lies the Silver Pagoda, which is aptly named as it has been crafted out of 5,329 solid silver tiles. Wander along to Wat Preah Keo Morakot, the Buddhist temple where Royal ceremonies are performed, or Wat Phnom, the namesake of the city. You can also visit The National Museum, which houses many fascinating and historical relics, and King Ang Duong Stupa, the burial site of King Norodom Sihanouk, the 20th century monarch. To respect local customs, please dress conservatively.
