Group Surfing Class at Bondi
Learn to take on the waves with a one-off surf lesson designed for beginners, at the world-famous Bondi Beach down under. Arriving at this crescent-shaped stretch of white sands set against a wonderful promenade with a historical street art wall, change into your swimsuit and enjoy an introduction into the world of surfing. Watch surfing enthusiasts flaunt their skills on these iconic surf breaks, while a bevy of people lazes on the sunny shores. Guided by expert surf instructors, get the hang of using the surfboard while understanding water conditions and techniques, during practice sessions on the beach. Go through the basics from warming up, paddling, standing up on the board, and riding the waves. After a safety briefing, hit the waters to catch your first wave! You could begin your day to the sound of native bird songs emanating from Forgotten Songs, a public art installation of birdcage speakers at Angel Place. If you are in the mood for a meal, head to The Grounds of Alexandria – a whimsical wonderland of cafes, stalls, farm animals and neon lights. You can admire street art at Kimber Lane and Newtown, where you can score vintage finds, and if you’re feeling adventurous, explore the underground tunnels featuring WWII graffiti, via the St James Station. Sample a slice of local life if you please, on bush walks and picnics at the leafy Balls Head Reserve and the Hermitage Foreshore Walk. Hike up trails in the Great Otway National Park and amble along the world’s highest treetop walk over the rainforest at Otways Fly.     • Damage to the vehicle or to the property of any third party caused by a breach of the rental agreement.
    • Damage to a tyre or an accessory not attributable to normal wear and tear
    • Cost of any professional cleaning or odour extraction in case of violation
    • Traffic and/or parking offence infringement fees
    • Special request delivery fees
    • Additional driver fee of 5 AUD per day or 25 AUD per rental (included, if additional driver is spouse/partner).
    • 27.50 AUD per day for renters between 21-24 years
    • 8.80 AUD per baby seat per day or 88 AUD per baby seat per rental (baby seat to be requested at the time of booking).
    • 13.20 AUD per portable GPS unit or 132 AUD per rental. The standard accidental Loss Damage Waiver and Excess Reduction do not cover loss of, or damage to the GPS unit. A separate charge will apply. One way rentals for GPS units are on a request basis only and a one way charge may apply.
    • 27.50 AUD per day for renters between 21-24 years.
    • Premium Location Surcharge for any additional items not included in the rental (e.g. baby seat). The fee varies between locations and may be calculated up to 30%.
    • A number of motorways and city link roads in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane are electronic tolls only and do not have toll booths. All renters must provide a credit card or debit card to enable The Roads & Maritime Services (RMS) to directly charge the applicable toll fees.
