Senior Rates and Product Setup Executive

What’s the position?

The role’s primary focus is the Setting up of our product offering (locations, hotels, activities, logistics, itineraries) for new and existing travel destinations in our cutting edge technology platform Artemis. Uploading rates for new and existing destinations and  Implement ongoing product enhancements. You will be reporting to the Business Intelligence Manager, and will be working closely with the Product team. It is a crucial role and can have an impact as it contributes to the quote sent to guests for each trip.

What do we expect from you?

  • Work independently, are able to prioritize and can multi-task effectively
  • Take ownership, execute product enhancement in the system independently
  • Demonstrate deep diving skill by identify root cause of the queries/issues raised

Rates and Product Setup:

  • Convert Partner contract details into Google Spreadsheet and then to Artemis (Master data management module (MDM)).
  • Compare the previous contract with the current one and share observations with stakeholders.
  • Compare contract rates with online rates. Drive partner contract comparisons, flight price  comparison,  ad hoc analysis.
  • Detail validation of rates updated by outsource resource, before the prices go to MDM
  • Convert service level information to MDM (watchouts, important notes)
  • Implement ongoing product enhancements (change in margin, change setup)
  • Maintain contract database by store completed contract in designated locations
  • Export product information from MDM for any further analysis, edit the changes and reupload the updated information to MDM.
  • Setting up product offering (locations, hotels, activities, logistics, itineraries) in MDM
  • Understand the concept of itinerary, travel routes, and come up with the best possible setup. Able to drive new destination launches with little support.
  • Unblock Product Management team on setup product and pricing in the system
  • Proactively follow up and gather information for incomplete contracts, share tentative due dates and alert if any delays. Give visibility on changes to rates to Product team
  • Share insights, support with finding Eg: highlight if the prices have gone up or the prices does not seems correct
  • Proactively raise issue with help-bi (clear communication with regular follow until the issue is fixed)

Required skills & Experience:  

  • At Least one year of experience in a similar role. 
  • Ability to communicate well.
  • High attention to detail is a must. 
  • Proficient with spreadsheets and have strong analytical skills and business sense.
