Discover Bangkok in all its regal glory! Begin with a cruise through the Thonburi klongs (canals) on a long tail boat. Stop enroute at Wat Arun, or the Temple of Dawn monastery that was built to resemble Mount Meru from Hindu mythology! Across the river, a short stroll takes you to the majestic Grand Palace, where the beautiful throne halls and enigmatic Emerald Buddha will leave you spellbound. Continue on to Wat Pho where you will find the famous reclining Buddha. Take a break for lunch at a local, riverside restaurant to sample some delicious Thai food. Once you have had your fill, continue on to Wat Benchamabophit, or the Marble Temple, which is a fantastic fusion of Thai and European architecture and offers interesting insights into the daily lives of monks. Discover the UNESCO World Heritage city of Ayutthaya on this all-day tour packed with activities. Take a 1.5 hour long train ride from Bangkok to this cultural capital of Thailand, marveling at the lush green countryside and paddy fields passing you by. In Ayutthaya, visit the iconic 14th century temples on a Kermit tuk tuk. Learn more about this ancient capital as you visit Wat Yai Chaimongkol, Wat Phra Sri Sanphet and Wat Mahathat, where the Buddha’s face is said to have emerged naturally out of a tree. Walk down to the bustling and colorful Muslim Quarter to encounter local flavors and people, and try out the rare delicacy of a candy floss roti bread. Enjoy a delicious luncheon spread at a local restaurant before taking a leisurely river boat ride around Ayutthaya Island. Drive to Erawan National Park with the jaw-dropping seven-tiered Erawan waterfall dropping down over 1,500m. This 550-sq-km park includes the impressive cascading and pooling waterfall that feeds into Mae Nam Khwae Yai. It is said that the uppermost fall appears to resemble the three-headed white elephant of Hindu mythology – Erawan. Weather permitting, you can enjoy a leisurely swim in one of the seven pools created by this beautiful waterfall. Alternatively, take a walk uphill to the seventh tier to truly admire this amazing place.

Highlights Of Kanchanaburi
Explore the poignant War Cemetery, the infamous Bridge on the River Kwai and visit the JEATH War Museum that holds artifacts related to the notorious Death Railway, constructed by Prisoners of War in World War 2.
