Witness many other historic landmarks, including the Opera House, the former Hotel de Ville (Town Hall) and the spectacular Presidential Palace. Visit the central Post Office, not to send your postcards home but to witness a magnificent feat of architecture. Want to make a wish? Visit Thien Hau Temple in District 5, where it is the local custom to attach your dreams to an incense coil. My Tho / Mekong Delta

Day 1: Set off from Saigon in the morning to reach the pier at My Tho, where your elegant river liner awaits. Make yourself comfortable and enjoy a delicious luncheon as the boat cruises upstream towards Cai Be. In the afternoon, enjoy tea on the deck as you watch the sun set the river ablaze in a riot of colors. Situated 17 km from Phnom Penh, Cheung Ek was made famous by the movie ‘The Killing Fields’, a graphic depiction of the horrors that took place. Now, a large memorial has been built to commemorate the 17,000 victims who died here under the reign of Khmer Rouge leader, Pol Pot. The remnants inside the memorial and the mass graves dotting the area, are a journey into Cambodia.

Half Day Tour Of Phnom Udong
Visit Udong, the former capital between 1618-1866, home to impressive Khmer architecture. The ruins are scattered over 2 ridges – the smaller having 2 ruined buildings, several stupas and Ta San Mosque remains. Around the ruins are smaller yet intact pagodas, stupas and Buddha statues. On the drive back, you can stop at Kampong Tralach village, home of an ancient pagoda.
