Bakers Lodge

Bakers Lodge, nestled on the south bank of River Nile and bordering the Murchison Falls National Park, is a 20-minute drive from the Bugungu airstrip. This intimate, safari-style lodge boasts magnificent views of local wildlife and the enormous, snaking Nile. The lodge has private river access, with large areas of wetlands that attract a plethora of animals. You can stay in one of the thatched safari suites that are large and airy, with netted windows and with customized solid wood furniture. Local handicrafts as room accessories add a charming touch. The en suite bathrooms have solar hot-water showers and can easily be called a bathroom with a view!There is plenty to do here – a boat safari to Murchison Falls or the Victoria Nile delta, fishing, hot air ballooning and even a river cruise.
