Denis Island Trip

Experience private luxury at Denis Island! Situated south of Mahe in the Seychelles, the island abounds in coconut palms, takamaka and casuarina trees, guarded by a lone lighthouse built in 1910 which stands tall on the northern edge. Named after a French explorer, Denis de Trobriant, the island is a haven for bird-watchers and nature enthusiasts! In 2004, 47 Seychelles Fody from Fregate Island and 58 Seychelles Warbler from Cousine Island were relocated to Denis as part of a Nature Seychelles conservation project. You can also get up close and personal with the many turtles and seals who have made Denis Island their home.
