Named after a tributary of the mighty Mekong, the Bassac is a river cabin cruise built entirely out of wood, similar to a conventional rice barge. Constructed in keeping with the local marine traditions, without compromising on the standards of comfort and safety, the Bassac offers a truly authentic journey through the Mekong delta. The 3 air-conditioned cabins feature soundproof partitions and en-suite bathrooms. Crusing along the My Tho river, one can explore the Mekong landscape at Cho Moi village, charming old churches and a bamboo-knitting village near the Thot Not bird park, which is an interesting stopover.
