Lower Zambezi Safari
Lower Zambezi National Park lies across the Zambezi River from the historically better known Mana Pools in Zimbabwe. With its floodplains, grasslands and tall forests the valley supports fantastic game densities. Enormous herds of elephant, some up to 100 strong, are often seen at the river’s edge and even swimming across it in order to feed on the grassy islands, where buffalo also graze. Impala are everywhere and kudu, eland, waterbuck, zebra and wildebeest are common. Predators include leopard, lion prides and wild dog packs. You can enjoy diverse safari experiences, with game drives by day and night, excellent walking, as well as fishing, motorboat and canoe trips.Ideal For
