During the drier months, you can look into the crevices of the deep canyon. Take a boat cruise on the River Zambezi and watch aquatic and bird life from close quarters. Round this off with an island picnic at one of the many islands dotting the region. Get a taste of the real Zambia; go on a village visit and get acquainted with the lifestyle and customs of the locals.

If you are lucky, you may be able to view the Falls enveloped in misty rainbows created by the effect of sunlight on the perpetual spray of water. After taking photos from the most dramatic vantage points, stroll around the site and enjoy its pristine beauty until it is time to head back to your hotel.
