Fairlight Beach House

Fairlight Beach House is situated in the quiet coastal village of Umdloti, on the North Coast of Kwa-Zulu Natal. The house was named after a particular trading schooner from England, which sailed past the house in the early 1900’s, then belonging to Squire Bacon. Fairlight Beach House offers 6 comfortable en-suite rooms, each with hairdryer, air-conditioning, tea/coffee making facility, bar fridge and TV. All rooms are sea facing and lead onto wooden decks overlooking the warm Indian Ocean. One room has a lovely poolside patio and also a frontside deck. Two of the rooms are inter-lead, thus allowing self-catering accommodation. A hearty breakfast is served in the breakfast room or on the deck with breathtaking seascape views. Umdloti Beach is a base for a variety of activitie, including surf and rock fishing – though licenses are required due to the area’s conservancy status – , snorkelling, surfing, diving, kiteboarding and horse riding.
