Bulago Island Trips

The tropical Bulago Island has the best location among all the islands on Lake Victoria! Less than an hour by boat from Kampala, this beautiful island has a wealth of outstanding fauna and flora, but is hardly remote. On the northeastern tip of the island lies a small rainforest while the southern shore is lined with a larger jungle. The eastern shores are covered with grasslands but the 12 km stretch of white beach and beautiful palm trees more than make up for it! You can indulge in walks, runs, pony and bicycle rides along the many trails at Bulago which offer magnificent views.
