Biyunoyado is a traditional Japanese inn located a short walk away from Yudanaka station and a 15-minute drive from the Jigokudani Snow Monkey Park.
Shibu Onsen Kokuya is a Japanese-style hot spring inn located two blocks from the Yokoyu river and a short drive away from Kamijō train station. Observe the traditional woodwork in this hotel, which is one of the oldest in the country, and is now overseen by the 16th generation of owners. Unwind in one of the air-conditioned, tatami-matted rooms that come with ensuite restrooms. Enjoy all amenities including WiFi, a TV, electric kettle, refrigerator, bidet toilet, air purifier and humidifier. Soak in any of the 16 tubs in one of the nine indoor baths (with gender-separated timings), each with a unique ambiance, and bubbling hot spring water from the hotel-owned spring sources. Or simply enjoy a foot bath sitting on a wooden bench. Relish Japanese or western breakfast, and full course kaiseki meals made from local, seasonal ingredients from the Shinshu region in the restaurant.
