Fosshotel Stykkisholmur is a boutique hotel overlooking the Breidafjordur Bay, in the fishing village of Stykkishólmur, sometimes called the ‘Town of Thousand Islands.’
Hótel Fransiskus is a set in a historic building right next to the harbor in the town of Stykkishólmur. Built in the 1930s by a group of Catholic nuns who came to Stykkisholmur to build a monastery, the hotel retains a fully functioning chapel.
