The memorial was designed by Felix D Warden, who also designed the Iwo Jima Memorial at Arlington, Washington DC. Then pause to take photos at the Tudor-style Cricket Club and the old Railway station, which is a striking piece of Mohammedan architecture. The tour concludes with a visit to the six-tiered Thean Hou Temple situated in Robson Heights. Dedicated to Thean Hou, the Chinese sea Goddess, it is one of the largest temples in South East Asia.
