Located on the banks of River Kinta, the capital of Perak is the hub of the tin mining industry and a budding site for vibrant street art. Ipoh is also the heart of the Hakka community, which has infused its hearty flavors and aromas to the culinary landscape of the city, evident in local delicacies such as bean sprout chicken, gai si hor fun (shredded chicken noodles), perfect to be washed down with the city’s signature Ipoh White Coffee.
