You will also notice the Banner of Hope steel structure that features the colors of the South African flag and is situated right in front of the Sci-Bono Discovery Center. Later, explore Museum Africa before you head on to the Carlton Center, which is the tallest building in the region. On reaching the 50th floor of the building you can enjoy a stunning bird’s eye view of Johannesburg city. After you descend from this exciting viewpoint, you’ll drive past landmarks such as the Supreme Court, the Magistrate’s Court, and City Hall. Your tour is complete with an informative visit to Constitution Hill. Narrating the story of South Africa’s journey to democracy, this living museum stands on the site of a former prison and military fort, which is also home to the nation’s Constitutional Court. Unearth the secrets of the Eastern Cape with an exciting game drive from the Amakhala Bush Lodge. Set out from the lodge in an open Land Rover with an experienced Ranger to discover Amakhala Game Reserve. Bounding over dirt tracks, venture deep into the heart of the dramatic landscape punctuated by a diverse range of flora, from bushveld to savannah. Beautifully scenic, this vast expanse is home not only to the big five but also elusive creatures such as hyenas and foxes.
