Visit one of South Africa’s prime safari destinations! Madikwe Game Reserve is one of the few malaria-free reserves in southern Africa. Located along the Botswana border and 20 kilometres from Gaborone, the reserve lies within a transition region between Lowveld bushveld and the Kalahari thornveld and is is host to an incredible diversity of species from both these ecosystems. The landscape inspire you with its unique mixture of vast plains of open grasslands and woodlands with rugged mountain ranges and rocky hills. You can easily spot a wide variety of animals here as the area offers ideal opportunities for game viewing.

The tropical climate creates a rather pleasant temperature. If you find you want more than the heavenly white sand beaches and the turquoise waters of Belle Mare, Blue Bay and Baie du Tamarin then you can head to Black River Gorges National Park. This forested nature reserve offers spectacular scenery and unique plants.
