Hear the roar and see the spray upon approach. Experience the falls by helicopter or canoe amongst hippos and crocodiles. Located on the river’s banks, explore Zambezi National Park; Matetsi, home to elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, giraffe and zebra, hippo, crocodile and iridescent birds such as bee-eaters, storks, herons, kingfisher and, fish eagles.

Lions, cheetahs and wild dogs hunt in the open grassland! Experience game drives and safari walks on land, while boat or mokoru (a dugout canoe) rides allow you to silently glide pass crocodiles! {Please note that due to fluctuating weather conditions and decreased rainfall, water levels at the Okavango Delta may be lower than usual at the time of your visit. Follow in the footsteps of early explorers! Maun has been the start of expeditions into Botswana’s wildlife areas since the turn of the century, and is the gateway to the Okavango Delta. Many guests stay only a day before setting off on safari. Once a village, Maun has recently grown into a bustling little town with shops and hotels. Watch as herdsmen wander along the dusty curbside driving their cattle to the marketplace, or see the traditional houses dotted along the wide banks of the Thamalakane River where red lechwe graze next to local donkeys and goats.
