Visit the largest island in Seychelles! Mahe, in the northeast of the nation, houses most of the Seychelles population and charms you with its grandiose landscapes and lush vegetation. Mahe’s forests have rare endemic plants found only in the Seychelles, such as the Jellyfish tree, the carnivorous Seychelles Pitcher Plant, and many unique species of orchids. Pristine and unspoilt, southern Mahe has deserted beaches as well as underwater gardens. Visit the Craft Village, the Creole Institute, go for a walk, or embrace Mahe’s lively Creole culture if you ever get bored of beaches with sand as white and fine as talcum powder!

Welcome to a UNESCO World Heritage Site full of ancient palm forests. Quieter than its popular cousin Mahe, Praslin Island is an exotic paradise! Dense vegetation and lush coconut groves greet you everywhere, and six endemic palm species, including the erotic-looking coco de mer, the bearer of the largest nut in the world, are found in Praslin’s forests. A great destination for honeymooners, the island is famous for its soft, sandy beaches. You can snorkel among living corals that are home to 900 species of fish, or go swimming at Anse Lazio which has consistently been voted as one of the world’s best beaches!
