Spot sand-colored houses with wind towers that provide natural cooling. Look out for museums, craft stores, courtyard cafes and art galleries housed in these buildings. Gain insights into the colorful history of the quarter, which was built in the early 1900s by Persian merchants from Bastak. Hop into an Abra (water taxi) and enjoy a peaceful ferry ride across the Dubai Creek. On the other side, take a walk through the bustling gold and spice souk (market).
