Amanda and her family have spent seven years living abroad in Tbilisi, Georgia, Kampala, Uganda, and Nairobi, Kenya. Immersing herself in different cultures has shaped her global perspective and her belief that the most memorable journeys are those that connect you more deeply to the people and places you visit.
Amanda’s own travels have included trekking with mountain gorillas in Uganda, wine touring in Tuscany, going on safari across East Africa, and volunteering as a physical therapist in Honduras. Always planning her next adventure, she believes travel has the power to change us in all the best ways and loves helping her guests discover that for themselves.
Drawing on her own experiences around the world, Amanda loves getting to know her guests and creating personalized journeys that strike just the right balance of adventure, relaxation, culture and fun.
MOST ENCHANTING TRAVEL
One of my most memorable travel experiences was traveling solo to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to complete my yoga teacher certification. I loved the energy of the city, the vibrant street markets and the incredible food. I was mesmerized by the sights, sounds and the rich mix of cultures. Traveling on my own and stepping so completely outside my everyday life made the experience especially meaningful.
