When Maren was 16 years old, she discovered her first travel catalog. Since then, travel has become her obsession. Now having visited over 30 countries across 6 continents, she’s thrilled to leverage her travel expertise and help others plan the trips of their dreams.
Maren’s most epic travel experiences have included hiking solo through the Swiss Alps, camping in the Sahara Desert, photographing a pride of lions on safari, and flightseeing over the Great Barrier Reef. On a more immersive level, she attended university in Spain, interned at a museum in Costa Rica, taught English in Peru, and supported refugee communities in Central Asia. An avid photographer, she always keeps her camera handy so that she can share her content on Instagram @endless_wander.
Originally from Dallas, Maren has spent the last 7 years living in Austin, Texas. When she’s not traveling, she’s usually at home cozied up with a good book and her fluffy orange cat, Mackenzie.
MOST ENCHANTING TRAVEL
One of my most memorable travel experiences has to be Morocco. My group stayed in tents in the Sahara Desert and rode camels across the dunes at sunset. When twilight fell, we danced the night away to Berber drums and vocals. Afterwards, I remember lying atop the sand dunes staring up at the breathtaking Milky Way, talking about life with some fellow travelers, a Moroccan and an Australian. Connections like that stay with you forever.
