Masvingo Safari

Located in the southeast of the Zimbabwe, Masvingo is one of the first colonial settlements of the country. It boasts a wonderful Old Fort situated at the heart of the city, built as a protective measure many years ago. The plain savannah landscape surrounding the city is interspersed with rocky formations called kopjes. Although it is located in a dry region, Masvingo receives its water from the Lake Mutirikwi nearby. The city is only a few kilometres from the Great Zimbabwe National Monument and the whte rhinos of the Kyle Game Resort, and is a perfect base to visit these locations.
