Ko Phi Phi is a small archipelago of six islands in Krabi Province, Southern Thailand, heralded as one of the most spectacular yet easily reachable island groups in the world. 45 minutes from Phuket, Phi Phi Islands are located between Phuket and the mainland’s Strait of Malacca coast. These tropical islands, when approached by boat, tower out from the scintillating turquoise waters like a fortress. There are two islands – one is completely devoid of human inhabitants (Phi Phi Leh), whereas the other is devoid of roads (Phi Phi Don). These tropical islands have no schedule, and the fine, white sandy beaches are ideal to simply dawdle, swim or tan – no reason to be in a hurry! The adventure inclined can dive, kayak, snorkel or rock climb.
