Cai Be Mekong Cruise

The Mekong Delta is Vietnam’s most vibrant hive and mouth to one of Asia’s great rivers, as well as home to millions of people in the busy towns and markets in between. Called the ‘rice basket’ of Vietnam, the region enjoys diversity dotted with green fields and sleepy villages intertwined by canals and rivulets, and self-sustaining river life. See longtail boats darting up and down the river, as well as dodgy smaller wooden ones used by floating market vendors. Cai Be is a river-land mixed town in Ti?n Giang Province of Vietnam’s Mekong Delta region. The Cai Be Floating Market is perhaps the most dazzling place to be, with varied colorful shallow wooden boats laden with luxuriant sprays of vegetables, fruit, rice and fish oscillating on the river.
