Plitviče Lakes National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage reserve forest area in the heart of Croatia. Expect a beautiful, thickly wooded area with 16 crystalline lakes at various levels, connected with each other through tumbling cascades and waterfalls.

Rovinj is a charming little fishing port on the Istrian peninsula, washed by the Adriatic Sea. The town was originally an island and part of the Rovinj archipelago, which lies just off the mainland.
