Troll Peninsula

Snaefellsnes Peninsula in west Iceland is known for its dramatic landscapes, comprising sparkling fjords, volcanic peaks, lava fields and stunning beaches. The glacier-capped Snaefellsjokull Volcano dominates this 62-mile-long peninsula.

The Eastfjords of Iceland is 75-mile stretch of coastline that extends from Berufjörður in the south to the village of Borgarfjörður Eystri in the north. Tucked away by the Skagafjordur bay in North Iceland lies the scenic village of Varmahlíð. It is surrounded by the woodlands of Reykjarhóll, where clearly marked trails make for invigorating hikes to the top of the hill. On a clear day, the breathtaking views from the summit can extend all the way across the central region of Skagafjörður.
