Catania sits at the foot of Mount Etna, on the eastern coast of Sicily, Italy’s largest Mediterranean island. Catania is Sicily’s second-largest city and its historic central plaza is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. But despite its ancient origins, Catania’s spirit is decidedly young.
