Brunton Boatyard is a boutique, Victorian period hotel situated in Cochin’s former boatyard, just two minutes from Fort Kochi. Both grand and contradictorily simple with its Portuguese influenced style, the property is like a living museum, decked in potraits from a bygone era. Rest your head in one of the 22 airy en suite colonial rooms and suites that offer stunning views of the sea, even from the bathroom, and complimentary WIFI access. Experience sunset cruises, and Keralan cookery lessons with the in-house chefs. You can also hire a bicycle from the hotel to further explore Cochin. Stay fit with a workout at the gym, take yoga lessons, or cool off in the swimming pool. The fine dining restaurant on the premises serves international cuisine while the waterfront terrace café is known for its sumptuous snacks.

unfortunately they assigned us a suite facing the ferry terminal with a noisy 24/7 constructing site,we moved to a standard room which was better in any case with a large balcony facing the shipping channel

Fabulous, except for FO staff who were uniformly and consistently rude, unfriendly and unhelpful. All the other staff were great! Again the WiFi was not easy to use as the password provided worked only for one device for one time so in the end we gave up. Also, although we arrived very late due to train delays, the third bed was not made up and we had to wait some time to get it sorted out and put our son to bed. Not sure why they were not aware we needed a third bed....Read More

Huge room, so lovely. We love the idea of combined tipping, that is new to us and such a good idea, as there are so many staff, it simplifies things for us.

This is our third visit to Brunton Boatyard and we love it. The buildings are elegant, rooms are great, the harbor goes about its business just below your windows. Restaurants are good; staff is friendly and efficient.
