The Presa di Goa is a unique country house that has been restored and furnished in the Portuguese colonial style, with the simple opulence and grandeur of a bygone era still remnant. Away from the noisy beach traffic, the rooms and suites are comfortably designed with colonial furniture and balconies that come with a view.
We were here for several nights and loved the location just down the street from I-95 restaurant, which we ate at 3 times during our stay in Nagoa. The room itself was a little beat up: marks on the walls; wardrobe did not close properly; no safe in the room; we saw cockroaches in the room one day; however, all of that said, we really enjoyed being able to sit out on our balcony, have our breakfast in the room, and swim in the lovely pool. I'm not sure I would agree that this is one of the top 1 small hotels in India (which the hotel had posted at their entrance), but it still seemed to be a good value and good location....Read More

Rolling power cuts meant we could not pay by credit card and were often left groping in the dark. Again, not their fault but perhaps they could put some candles in the rooms.
