Shahpura House is a boutique property located in a residential and green area of Jaipur, just half an hour from the city center. Built in the style of Shehawati architecture, the property is named after one of the region’s oldest families. You can enjoy a blend of traditional Rajasthani style décor, including domes and frescoes. Stay in one of the 38 en suite rooms that are equipped with private balconies overlooking the courtyard and gardens. Your rooms boast comfortable modern amenities, including a TV, personal safe and mini bar. Relax by the poolside or indulge in a massage at the spa. You can learn more about Indian cuisine during a private cooking demonstration, which takes place on the rooftop. The restaurant is also located here and serves both continental and Indian cuisine. There is also a small bar where you can sip delicious drinks.

Great experience
Stunning!
It is a great hotel. A little more 'big city' in style and attitude. Many more tourists here. Bus groups. A great place to stay, but I think we were spoiled by all the previous stays in more 'out of the way' smaller places.
Different experience in a big city fancy hotel. Again the desk personnel helped us choosing a restaurant and arranging a taxi. Lovely accommodations again
Outstanding property
Apart from an incident where a waiter just entered my room with out knocking as the door was open !
Very impressive building, lower level staff very helpful. Senior staff quite arrogant and not customer centred. Restaurant food in the evening terrible. Hassled for tips by the puppet people
Lovely rooms, bathroom a bit small. No room for toiletries.
Beautiful city hotel. Again we felt welcomed by all the staff.
Stunningly beautiful hotel but was let down by the attitude and service of some of the staff and a mess with the booking of twin beds with 2 of our travellers being move twice. Food not so great but location was good.
Since we were just stopping for the night on route to Ranthambore expected a place closer to the Airport, which there were many , this took us 45 minutes to get to and by the time we got to the hotel at 9 , the reception was not that great .
Beautiful building, but experience was tarnished by a couple of waiters who were 'hungry' for tips
A real gilt trip, if you'll excuse the pun!
Wonderful hotel; great staff. Good food and entertainment!
The most beautiful place we stayed. Had the best shower and hot water of our entire trip. Restaurant was excellent.
Charming hotel.
hotel was beautiful; food only ok but beautiful rooms and dancing
What a great room!!
Decor was excellent. Again had problems with hot water. The entertainment in the restaurant was very discordant and the dancers forward in demanding tips.
Spacious and very comfortable with the added bonus of a balcony. Unfortunately, no outside view ... all internal windows.
This hotel was enchanting. Absolutely stunning décor and beautiful art and artefacts everywhere. My favourite hotel.
Very personal and friendly new your name within half a day
Extremely
Again wow, we were upgraded not that we needed to be upgrades but the room and hotel was beautiful an old palace!
Great atmosphere and service-prices in the restaurant were very high for food whose quality was not up to the standard of the Peacock Rooftop restaurant our driver took us to.
Love the hotel as has its own characteristic. Not your typical hotel. Would have been better if its walking distance to the local shops.
Our favorite hotel during our stay in India. Felt like we were transported back in time. The opulent decorations and furnishings were a treat.
Loved the old architecture, stained glass windows, courtesy of staff, entertainment.. really enjoyed my stay
A very different Hotel, very nice, staff were very friendly.
great suite.
My personal favourite, loved the look and feel of the hotel. Very friendly, efficient service

A colourful and amazing hotel with wonderful staff
fabulous staff, great Xmas eve party, beautiful decor
very noise as there where construction works all the time starting early in the morning until night
WOW, but breakfast sub-par
~ Lovely architecture, great outdoor restaurant and free wi-fi. ~ No outside space except for the swimming pool. ~ No public lift to restaurant on 2nd floor.
loved it! wonderful ambience
Had its charm in quite a quirky way
Absolutely amazing. Beautiful room, beautiful hotel, peaceful location -- and great that I could use screened doors and a fan rather than just air conditioning!
This place is wild! But the beds are super uncomfortable.
We stayed at Samode Haveli in Jaipur--a very memorable experience
not our hotel
delightful owner who invited me for some brandies with him, and exquisite ancient paintings in my very room!
Loved the rooms.
excellent location
lovely roof terrace but bad food
deliciously quirky
loved the decor. due to rain we were not able to eat on the verander but the option is there. Very friendly staff.

Good rooftop restaurant, spacious room, helpful staff

You knew you were in India when in this house. The rooms are lovely, the service is fantstic. I got very ill at that point in the trip and they looked after me so well that I was back up on my feet the next day
However the receptionist cheated us (5 Rs) at check out.
quirky - interesting staff - made out celebration special
Biggest issue was noise. Our room was below the restaurant.
felt like royalty! great greeting with flower petals!
