Shumba Camp

Named Lion in the Shoma language, Shumba Camp is a remote and intimate camp located in the seasonal wet plains known as the Busanga Plains of Kafue National Park. This particular part of the Busanga Plains is known for its lion herds which are often found nearby the camp. Here you can view puku, lechwe, hippos and possibly predators from the sofa areas of the main dining and bar area or from the comfort of a plunge pool located on the main deck. The main area offers panoramic views over the plains below whereas raised platform walkways lead you to your comfortable and stylish tents. Shaded by a canopy of fig trees, the six spacious tents feature stunning views with outdoor seating areas, beautiful decor and en-suite bathrooms with two copper sinks and indoor/outdoor showers.
