Bagh Tola, literally meaning ‘Tiger’s Village’, is sprawled over 44 acres of lush wooded forest using designs inspired by dwelling styles of Central India, and provides a quiet getaway from madding crowds. The lodge’s 8 guestrooms, a courtyard styled on Anglo-Indian railway colony lines, an organic kitchen garden and a smattering of small ponds, offer up a colonial feel with 44 lithographs, antique furniture stripped from old Indian houses and a priceless collection of hunting tales. Savor European and Indian meals spread in the dining room or enjoy evening grills around the bonfire. Relax with a sun-downer by the riverside or an open bar spirits of choice.
Very nice accommodation and staff. We were the only visitors at that time and so got to know the staff well. We were well looked after although the meals were restricted in variety due to us being the only visitors. Well located to the Kanha Park gate 1 minutes)
