Built in 1820, this property is set against mountains and woodlands, and has the ruins of a 12th-century castle on its grounds. At the Lake Hotel, you will find a blend of old world charm and modern conveniences. The Lake View rooms are located in the original hotel building. Find high ceilings, classic furniture and rich rugs and drapes in your room. Large windows offer views of the Lower Lake and National Park, while some rooms even come with private balconies. When you are not out exploring the park or the lake, you could unwind at the Lake Wellness Centre with its outdoor hot tub, steam room and sauna. You could also treat yourself to a massage. Sample Irish dishes at the elegant Castlelough Restaurant, while The Lakeside Bistro is the perfect spot to have a snack and take in the views. You can also enjoy a classic afternoon tea in the Lough Lein Room or a delicious drink at the in-house Devil’s Punch Bowl Bar.
