Surrounded by magnificent mountains, Montagu is well known for its beautifully preserved Georgian and Cape Dutch buildings. This historic building has been carefully renovated and offers 16 individually decorated rooms/suites, each with a bathroom and a private veranda or Victorian balcony. Mimosa Lodge is well known for its creative cuisine. Only the freshest herbs, salads and vegetables are used, many originating from Mimosa’s own lovingly tended garden where more than 200 plant species thrive. An old water reservoir with heavy walls from natural stone has been converted into a wine cellar; wines are a perfect match with an excellent dinner. Relax in the salt-water swimming pool, which is heated during the cold winter months.
