Set above the permanent water of the Boro River built on raised platforms, Sanctuary Baines’ Camp is located in a private concession bordering the Moremi Game Reserve. The concept of this camp, was focused on encouraging the local community in Maun to collect cans, with a fee paid for every can, which were recycled and incorporated in the walls to provide insulation.
