Very good hotel, breakfast amazing. Best breakfast during our trip was there, by far. Veranda (every room has a veranda) beautiful. Extremely expensive prices in the restaurant (which we used almost every night, as there were not many options outside the hotel), every bill came to $1-$15 without alcohol, with alcohol $2. Which for Vietnam is very pricey. But in 5 star accommodation it probably is a norm. We also used spa (for comparison, spa in Cambodian hotel was $2 for massage, in Hoi An around $4-5, here in La Veranda $8-15 depending on the chosen type), so here by far everything was very pricey. Cup of tea $5, etc. We spent a lot in there, probably half as much as our trip costed. It was very stressful for us (we had those clothes tailored in Hoi An, so they were also of sentimental value as well as costing in total around $5). The items were found and returned, which was just by surprise, if we did not recover them it would be very difficult. By way of an apology, they gave us free desserts in the restaurant on our first evening. ... Read More
