Ishasha Wilderness Camp is an exclusive tented camp located in the southern Ishasha sector of Queen Elisabeth National Park directly on the Ntungwe River. This is an area famous for its tree climbing lions that with some luck can be spotted resting in the branches of the large fig trees in the area. This remote location with its grassland and acacia tree savannah framed by views of the Ruwenzori to the north and the Virunga volcanoes to the south ensures an authentic and true wilderness experience. The camp features 10 spacious ensuite canvas room structures that are comfortably designed and create a home away from home feel. A spacious central lounge and dinging area with a thatched roof ensures a relaxing atmosphere after a day in the bush and a shaded area beside the river gives you the opportunity to enjoy a meal outside or just relax around a fire.
