The once inaccessible Esteros del Iberá is now a Natural Reserve preserving over 4,000 plant and animal species throughout its territory. Choose from a variety of tours to explore the biodiversity of this area. At the Estancia (farmhouse), visit the tree nursery, producing seedlings such as eucalyptus and yerba mate. Set out a horseback ride or a bicycle tour around the premises. Direct your eyes at the treetops as you walk along the ‘Monkey Trail’, also known to be an area of importance for the conservation of birds. For more action, hop on a kayak to explore the forest along the channels of the Paraná River, highly recommended for bird watching and spotting Carayá monkeys. Don’t miss the boat ride to Laguna Valle, where you can see caymans, capybaras and many birds. The activity includes two guided outings per day.
