International Arrival
Welcome to Male airport where you will be met by a representative with a paging board who will guide you to the resort’s airport counter. Once your check-in formalities are complete, the resort staff will escort you to your seaplane. Please note that seaplane departure times are only provided 24 hrs before your arrival. This is a shared transfer and depending on the number of your co-passengers on the plane, you may be required to wait at the airport lounge before you can board. Your seaplane may transfer you directly to your resort or stop at another resort to drop off some of your fellow passengers. Your resort staff will confirm the timing for your seaplane departure from the resort one day in advance. Please note that seaplanes only operate between 9 am and 3 pm, and are dependent on weather conditions.

Today, it continues to serve as the gateway to the rest of the archipelago. You can go island hopping by seaplane or speedboat. Stay in luxurious resorts and enjoy the pristine beaches and crystal clear waters. Thriving coral reefs ring the islands and provide a home for myriad species of fish, making The Maldives a premier diving and snorkeling destination. Surfing is another popular water sport here, especially coral reef surfing. In recent times, spa treatments have become a Maldives hallmark too.

“Maldives…a trip of a lifetime! This destination has been on my bucket list, so what better place to celebrate a milestone birthday! It was also a Mother/Daughter trip to spend quality time together in this hectic world we live in. Working with Walter in the planning stages and then with Neetu in the execution phase was enjoyable and stress-free. Amazing that with 21 to 24 hrs of actual flight time and 4 airplanes to get there…everything went seamlessly and no flight delays or lost luggage! That’s a miracle in of itself!
