Lima has the highest concentration of museums in Peru as well. In recent times, the city has developed a thriving food scene that has earned it the title of the Gastronomical Capital of the Americas. Its restaurants have found a place in the World’s Best 50 restaurants list. At the other end of the spectrum, there is a bustling and varied street food scene, ensuring there is something for every budget. Peruvian coffee and chocolate are highly rated as well and you can find both at El Cacaotal, a museum of cacao products from all over the country.
