Group Tour of Pearl Harbor With USS Missouri Journey back in time with a visit to the USS Missouri, the site of the Japanese surrender, signaling the end of World War II. Board a US Navy vessel to travel to the USS Arizona Memorial, located directly above the actual sunken battleship. Make your way to the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center to see visuals of the attack of 1941. Drive out to the the Punchbowl Cemetery, dedicated to slain members of the US Armed Forces. Head to downtown Honolulu, where your expert guide will point out historic landmarks. Capture stunning images of the distinctive architecture of the Iolani Palace and the statue of King Kamehameha. Start with a visit to Kona Coffee farm, where you will learn about growing and milling this famous coffee. You will also have the chance to relish a freshly prepared breakfast with Kona coffee samples. Move on to Kula Kai to explore a private cave network. You can climb into a lava tube and learn about how they were formed and used in ancient times. Next, visit the famous beach of Punaluu, known for its glittering black sand created by volcanic activity on Kilauea. As you walk along the beach, look out for Hawaiian green sea turtles. Proceed for a scenic ride to Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park where you will halt for a deli-style lunch. Afterwards, you can hike to the summit of Kilauea, where your guide will relate the history of this active volcano and Halemaumau Crater, and its effect on the surrounding landscape. Group Lanai Snorkel and Dolphin Watch Cruise On this full-day trip aboard a double-decker luxury catamaran, sail from picturesque Lahaina Harbor across the Au’au Channel to scenic Lanai Island. Look out for Hawaiian spinner, bottlenose and spotted dolphins while you eat your continental breakfast on the top deck. The experienced crew tries to navigate as close as they can when they spot dolphins. Instructions on snorkeling and safety tips are provided by the accompanying marine naturalists, who also join you for the undersea coral reef exploration.
