Dense vegetation and lush coconut groves greet you everywhere, and six endemic palm species, including the erotic-looking coco de mer, the bearer of the largest nut in the world, are found in Praslin’s forests. A great destination for honeymooners, the island is famous for its soft, sandy beaches. You can snorkel among living corals that are home to 900 species of fish, or go swimming at Anse Lazio which has consistently been voted as one of the world’s best beaches!
