Vancouver is a beautiful cosmopolitan city surrounded by stunning scenery and landscapes. Explore the city’s many sights starting with the Totem Poles in Stanley Park and learn how Canada’s First Nations approach history. Continue to the nearby Prospect Point which offers stunning views of Lions Gate Bridge and the North Shore mountains. Venture over to Canada Place and marvel at Vancouver´s world-famous and Best-Destination-Experience-Award-winning cruise ship terminal. Continue on over to the nearby Jack Poole Plaza to view the majestic Olympic Cauldron built for the 2010 Winter Olympics. From there, take the opportunity to explore the glittery shopping paradise of Robson Street before heading to Vancouver’s historic and charming Gastown. Don’t forget to explore the second largest ChinaTown in North America while you’re in the area. Another must-do is to take in the stunning views at English Bay in the West End of Vancouver, before you finish off at Granville Island where you’ll find an eclectic array of shops and galleries, restaurants, and of course the famous Granville Island Public Market. Board the Rocky Mountaineer train at Vancouver station for two days of all-daylight rail travel through Canada’s West and the Rocky Mountains. Journey from coastal Vancouver to Kamloops in the interior of British Columbia. View contrasting scenery as you traverse the picturesque Fraser Valley, past the Cascades Range and along the banks of the Thompson River. Your first day ends at Kamloops, where you will be transferred by bus to your hotel. You will spend the night in a comfortable midrange hotel, Gold Leaf class guests will sleep in a higher room category. Enjoy a fun ride around Jasper, in the sidecar of a Harley Davidson motorcycle. Choose between two magnificent locations, Maligne Lake or Miette Hot Springs. Take a shuttle to the downtown location, where you’ll meet your driver-guide and collect your riding gear. Hop onto a twin-seater sidecar and set out on a thrilling journey through the Canadian Rockies. Sit back, relax and soak up the mountain scenery. At scenic stops along the way, your guide will tell you about Jasper and its surrounding area. While cruising to Maligne Lake, stop at Maligne Canyon and then steer past Medicine Lake. Once you reach the lake, head to the viewing gallery to take in the alpine panorama. Alternatively, you may choose to visit the remote Miette Hot Springs, nestled in the Fiddle Valley. Enjoy a dip in the geothermal waters, cooled to a comfortable 104 degrees Fahrenheit before returning. Discover one of the world’s most beautiful lakes on this half-day tour in Canada. Your driver will pick you up from your hotel in Banff and drive you to the iconic Lake Louise. Often called the ‘Jewel of the Canadian Rockies’, Lake Louise is famous for its vivid turquoise waters that lie between rugged peaks. It is also part of a larger UNESCO World Heritage Site. Soak in the views of the surroundings and dip your hand in the water. Watch bright red canoes glide across the surface and perhaps take a stroll around the water’s edge. Then return to Banff. Experience a flightseeing trip to Mount Assiniboine. From Banff you will be driven to the helipad. Fly into the heart of the mountainous wonderland, while taking in the panoramic landscape. See the Three Sisters Mountain peaks and the sparkling waters of Spray Lakes. Enjoy an epic bird’s-eye view of jagged alpine summits and picturesque meadows that make up Mount Assiniboine Provincial Park. Pass snow covered ranges and Lake Gloria and Marvel Lake. Your pilot-guide will share insight into the region and interesting facts such as how Marvel Lake got its name. Continue to the edge of the glacier on Mount Assiniboine, which rises to 11,807 ft. Also called the Matterhorn of the Canadian Rockies, it is situated along the British Columbia–Alberta Border, beside the Great Divide. Swoop around the surrounding glaciers and frozen cascades, and get up close to Gloria Glacier before returning to the airfield.
