Rhino Post Safari Lodge is situated at the southern end of our 12,000 hectare private wilderness concession in the Kruger National Park. Rhino Post Safari Lodge can be reached by normal 2 x 4 vehicles. Travelling time by vehicle from Johannesburg to Rhino Post Safari Lodge is approximately six hours. Scheduled flights are available to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport or direct charter flights to Skukuza Airport. Set on the banks of the Mutlumuvi riverbed, Rhino Post Safari Lodge is an elegant 16 bed lodge from where you embark on twice daily game drives. As well as making use of the private concession roads they have exclusive use of some of the Kruger National Park’s public roads for evening game drives, well after gate closing times (sunset), ensuring guests an unforgettable experience. The nature of a wilderness area is that there are no permanent structures, so Rhino Post Safari Lodge was built using natural materials of stone, wood, thatch and canvas to create an authentic bush ambience. Following a game drive, you can relax in the revitalising swimming pool; take in the views from the shaded patio and watch the abundant wildlife amble down to the waterhole. Sumptuous meals are served in the camp’s dining area, which is set under magnificent Tamboti trees. The lounge, with its extensive wine cellar, cosy fireplace and bar, is the perfect spot for a sundowner.
