Kalahari Salt Pans Tour
The largest saltpans in the world, Makgadikgadi Pans will offer you a unique safari experience. Changing with the seasons, the summer rains entice waterfowl and flamingos, while December to April boasts enormous herds of wildebeest, zebra, and springbok – with the accompanying predators – on the open grasslands. In the dry winter months, you can ride four-wheeled motorcycles and quad bike. Walk with a Bushman tracker and visit the historical Chapman’s Baobab tree, used by early explorers Livingstone and Selous. The highlight? Getting close to lively local meerkats who are accustomed to humans, allowing incredible photographic opportunities.
